Trading Update

                                  

Oxford Instruments plc, a leading provider of high technology tools and systems for industry and research, is today issuing a trading statement ahead of entering its close period.

As anticipated, there was a strong performance in the last quarter.  As a result we reiterate the guidance given in our January trading update that we expect performance for the year to be in-line with expectations.

Oxford Instruments' results for the year ended 31 March 2016 will be released on Wednesday 15 June 2016.
