            Ormonde announces appointment of Non-Executive Director.



The Board of Ormonde is pleased to announce that Mr. Mike Donoghue has joined
the Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Mr Donoghue is a
consulting mining engineer, who has wide experience in the evaluation, funding,
development and operation of mines in Europe, Africa, South-East Asia, Australia
and the Americas. His executive management experience includes an eight-year
period as General Manager-Operations for Delta Gold, Sydney, Australia.


Mr. Donoghue has previously been involved with Ormonde, having sat on the Board
from 1996 until the strategic and financial restructuring in 2001 and he has a
significant interest in the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.


The Directors consider that the addition of Mr. Donoghue to the Board at this
time adds considerably to the Company's capability in their ongoing programme of
evaluation of mining opportunities in Morocco and Spain.
