Oracle Coalfields Plc has been informed today that Roderick Stead, a Director of the Company, purchased 10,000
ordinary shares at 6.45 pence per share and now has a holding of 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company.

The Directors are now interested in a total of 34,658,291 shares representing 30.39% of the issued share
capital of 114,046,334.
