On-line PLC ('On-line')

The attention of the Directors has been drawn to a comment in The Market page
of the Daily Telegraph on Monday 20 March 2000. The article was commenting on
the initial price performance of ADVFN.com plc, the online personal finance
website spun out of On-line and where dealings commenced for the first time on
Monday.  The article referred to On-line retaining a stake of 7.5 per cent. 
This is incorrect.  On-line holds a retaining share in ADVFN.com of 76 per
cent which, based on the mid-market closing price of 54.5p on Tuesday 21 March
2000, is valued at approximately £104 million, equivalent to approximately £21
per On-line share.
