Old Mutual plc ('Old Mutual') will, tomorrow, be hosting a presentation in
London and in Johannesburg for investors and analysts on its interim results for
the six months ended 30 June 2003.

The presentations will take place at Old Mutual's offices in Sandton,
Johannesburg, and Old Mutual Place, in London.  The presentation is scheduled to
start at 09h30 (UK time), 10h30 (SA time). Presentation slides, and a live
Webcast of the presentation will be available on the company's website
www.oldmutual.com.  An archive of the Webcast will also be available
approximately 3 hours following the live event.  In addition there will be an
audio dial-in facility on the day, which will also be accessible for the
remainder of the week.  The dial in details are now available on the website.
