Orad Hi-Tec Systems 12 July 2005 12 July 2005 ORAD Hi-Tec Systems Limited ('Orad') Orad wins fourth virtual set contract with Italy's leading broadcaster RAI TV Kfar Saba, Israel - 12 July 2005 - Orad Hi-Tec Systems (Symbol: OHT) announces today that it has received a further few hundred thousands euros order for its virtual set from RAI TV, a leading Italian broadcaster. Following three installations, RAI TV has placed an order with Orad for its fourth virtual set system. RAI TV intends to utilise the virtual set for various types of productions including news, magazines and entertainment in its Milan studios. As part of the agreement, Orad will provide RAI with a multi channel virtual set solution that is empowered by Orad's Xync infra-red tracking system. Such a combination offers RAI TV maximum freedom of camera movement as well as the ability to preview each of the cameras before going on air. 'We are extremely pleased with this order from RAI. The strong partnership that we have established with our Italian distributor - Broadcast Digital Service - has played a key roll in this project' says Avi Sharir, CEO and President of Orad. 'The fact that this is the fourth virtual set system acquired by a leading broadcaster such as RAI TV enforces the superiority of our virtual set solution. More and more broadcasters realise the benefits of the cost effectiveness and the creative opportunities which our virtual set brings in comparison to alternative solutions', Sharir summarised.
