INTERIM RESULTS DATE AND POSITIVE TRADING STATEMENT

The Board of NWF Group plc announces that it will release its interim results
for the six months ended 30 November 2002 on 30 January 2003.

The Board expects to announce at this time that the results for the first six
months of the year will be ahead of the same period last year. The Board expects
that progress for the Group will be maintained but the second half performance
will depend on the usual seasonal factors in the final months leading up to May
2003.
