NWF GROUP PLC 8 September 1999 NWF Group plc (Diversified Industrials) Acquisition of Malpas Oil NWF Group plc announces that it has today acquired the business of Malpas Oil, a small independent distributor supplied by Texaco and based in Malpas, Cheshire. The customers are mainly rural households using central heating oil and, as such, fit in ideally with the activities of NWF Fuels Ltd, NWF's successful fuel distribution company. Malpas Oil customers will be supplied from NWF Fuel's existing Wardle depot. In the year ended February 1999, Malpas Oil had a turnover of some £600,000. NWF Fuels Ltd has 11 sales offices, the majority having their own storage tanks, at: Bangor (Gwynedd), Dyserth (Denbighshire), Wardle (Cheshire), Manchester, Leaton (Shropshire), Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire), Yate (Gloucestershire), Boston (Lincolnshire), Wootton Bassett (Wiltshire), Nottingham and Melton Mowbray (Leicestershire). The Company had a turnover in 1998/99 of £52m and operating profit of £874,000.
