Numis Corporation Plc ('Numis')

Interest in Shares

The Board of Numis received today notification from Citigroup Global Markets UK
Equity Limited that, pursuant to the Companies Act 2006, it is deemed interested
in 3,467,051 (3.23%) ordinary shares of the issued share capital of Numis.

The Numis shares referred to above are Numis' ordinary shares of 5p each and the
total number of shares in issue following the above will be 107,367,344 with
each ordinary share carrying the right to one vote. There are no shares held in
treasury.

The total number of voting rights in Numis will therefore be 107,367,344.
