Aberdeen Asset Management PLC announces in conformity with the Transparency
Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the
following:

Edinburgh US Tracker Trust plc consists of 72,680,242 ordinary 25p shares with
voting rights.  Edinburgh US Tracker holds nil ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Edinburgh US Tracker is
72,680,242.

The above figure (72,680,242) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Edinburgh US Tracker under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
