                                  Board change



The Company announces that Sasson Rajwan has resigned from the board with
immediate effect in order to pursue his other business interests. The board
would like to thank him for his considerable contribution over the last few
years to the reshaping of Newmark and wish him well for the future. As each of
the Newmark subsidiaries operate as autonomous businesses with their own
management team, with Maurice Dwek as executive chairman, the board has no
current intention to appoint a further executive director.
