                           Notice of Interim Results

Northumbrian Water Group plc ("NWG") will be announcing its interim results 
on 19 November, for the period from 12 May (the date of incorporation) to 
30 September 2003 (consolidating the trading results of the NWG and Northumbrian
Services Limited Group, from 23 May 2003).

At that time, the Board will also announce its first interim dividend. The
dividend will be paid on 7 January 2004 to shareholders on the register on 
12 December 2003.
