Edward Astle was yesterday granted options over
193,952 NGG Ordinary shares under the Executive
Share Option Scheme. The options were granted at
an exercise price of 479.5p per share and are
exercisable, subject to agreed performance criteria,
during the period of seven years from 6 September 2004.
