Management Holding BV, AEGON Asset Management UK Holdings Ltd, AEGON Asset
Management UK plc, AEGON Investment Management UK Limited and AEGON ICVC) has
advised the company of an increase in its voting rights in Mothercare plc.

The notifiable interest of direct and indirect holdings now comprises 3,554,792
ordinary shares all with voting rights (or 4.03%) being a direct holding of
3,534,494 (4.007%) and an indirect holding of 20,298 (0.023%) of the voting
rights.
