Elderstreet VCT plc announces that on 15 June 2006 the Company purchased a total
of 100,000 ordinary shares of 5p each for cancellation  representing 0.65% of
the issued share capital at a price of 55p per share.

Following these transactions the Company now has 15,255,426 ordinary shares in
issue.
