                                 Board Changes

Gleeson (whose principal businesses are currently homes and regeneration,
development and investment property, and civil engineering for the water
industry) announces that, as indicated in its Strategic Review announced earlier
today, Tony Collins and Steve Davies will step down from the Board of the
Company tomorrow, 1 April 2006.

These changes arise from the Group's revised strategy and the Board's desire to
embrace more fully the best practice recommendations of the Combined Code.

Tony and Steve will join the newly constituted Executive Board and will retain
responsibility for the activities of Gleeson Construction Services and Gleeson
Properties, respectively.
