NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN SHARE INTERESTS OF A DIRECTOR

We advise that yesterday a Director, Mr Peter Denis Berridge, exercised his
Option (granted January 1995) to purchase 150,000 Ordinary shares of 0.5p each
under the Rules of the Company's Share Option Schemes, at a price of 46 pence
per share.  Approval was given at a Board Meeting of the Company on 29th
February 2000 and, accordingly, the Company's Registrars have been instructed to
allot and issue the shares.

Mr. Berridge's interest is now 320,300 shares representing 0.089 per cent of the
Company's issued Ordinary shares, of which 300,300 are registered in his own
name and 20,000 in his wife's name.
