           Appointment of Adviser re Strategic Review Implementation

PMI (PHTM.L), the digital imaging company, announces that it has appointed
Lazard & Co., Limited as a financial adviser with immediate effect. This
appointment follows the statement in the Interim Announcement of 18 December
2006 that PMI was pursuing strategic options for its three individual businesses
- vending, minilab manufacturing and wholesale lab manufacturing. Lazard will
advise PMI on this strategic review and its implementation.

Lazard will work alongside JPMorgan Cazenove, PMI's existing financial adviser
and joint broker, which is advising PMI on the proposed return of capital to
shareholders and the necessary restructuring of the Group.
