On 15 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 25,835 ordinary shares at a price of 231.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,432,032 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,151,170 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
