On 5 September 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 2,561 ordinary shares at a price of 239.5863p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,977,235 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,605,967 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
