On 14 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 50,128 ordinary shares at a price of 233.8497p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,333,565 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,249,637 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
