On 8 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,039 ordinary shares at a price of 228.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,319,110 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,264,092 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
