On 30 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 2,065 ordinary shares at a price of 233.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,033,987 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,549,215 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
