On 22 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 11,216 ordinary shares at a price of 232.77p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,041,785 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,541,417 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
