On 27 April 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 244 ordinary shares at a price of 228.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,136,904 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,446,298 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
