On 20 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 8,045 ordinary shares at a price of 242.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,223,002 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,360,200 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
