On 10 November 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,048 ordinary shares at a price of 213.99p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,700,363 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,882,839 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
