On 1 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,352 ordinary shares at a price of 234.34p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,662,793 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,920,409 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
