On 8 November 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 76 ordinary shares at a price of 211.00p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,680,154 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,903,048 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
