On 29 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,033 ordinary shares at a price of 236p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,665,565 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,917,637 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
