On 28 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 9,623 ordinary shares at a price of 231.18p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,661,532 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,921,670 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
