On 24 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,733 ordinary shares at a price of 233.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,636,909 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,946,293 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
