On 11 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 563 ordinary shares at a price of 162.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,807,776 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,775,426 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
