On 3 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 53,077 ordinary shares at a price of 167.03p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,641,087 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,942,115 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
