On 1 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 180,431 ordinary shares at a price of 166.32p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,801,834 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,871,368 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
