On 23 December 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 22,000 ordinary shares at a price of 178.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,156,548 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,336,623 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
