On 11 August 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 66,852 ordinary shares at a price of 165.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,085,508 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,407,663 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
