On 25 July 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 117,981 ordinary shares at a price of 167.04p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,718,656 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,774,515 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
