Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 18 March 2014, bought back 11,000 ordinary shares at a price of 162.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 748,000 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,745,171 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
