Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 18 June 2013, bought back 16,000 ordinary shares at a price of 154p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 784,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,708,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
