Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 20 February 2013, bought back 7,000 ordinary shares at a price of 150.68p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 120,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,432,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
