Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 15 May 2013, bought back 17,000 ordinary shares at a price of 161.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 811,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,741,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
