Appointment of AIFM, company secretary, depositary and custodian

 

 

The Board of Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Franklin Templeton Investment Trust Management Limited ("FTITML") has been appointed as the Company's AIFM and company secretary.  FTITML sits within the Franklin Templeton group (the "Group") and as such can fully leverage the scale and depth of the Group's functions to fulfil these responsibilities.  The appointment is in substitution for, and on materially the same commercial terms as, its existing AIFM agreement with Martin Currie Fund Management Limited. 

 

As part of this process, J.P. Morgan Europe Limited has been appointed as the Company's depositary and JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. London Branch has been appointed as the Company's custodian.
