                       AEC Education PLC ('the Company')



The Directors of AEC ('Directors') have today received confirmation via the
UK-based introducer to the overseas third party in respect of which a possible
reverse takeover transaction was announced on the 12th April, that that third
party is not prepared to proceed with such a transaction in the short term.



The Directors have therefore requested the London Stock Exchange to restore
trading in the Company's shares with immediate effect.
