purchased on 11 April 2001, 322 ordinary shares of 10p each (representing 0.0%
of the issued class of capital) at a price of 310p each. The shares were
purchased pursuant to a regular standing order, through the Majedie share
plan.



Mr Reid is now deemed to have a disclosable interest in 4,385 shares,
representing 0.01% of the issued share capital.
