LLOYDS TSB EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITY CHANGES

Lloyds TSB today announced that from 1 April 2001 Dennis Holt, currently Group
Executive Director Retail Distribution, will become Group Executive Director
for UK Retail Banking with the additional responsibility for Customer
Management, Personal Banking and Cheltenham & Gloucester.

This change will allow Mike Fairey to more fully undertake his duties as
Deputy Group Chief Executive with responsibility for Human Resources, Group
Planning and the Budgetary process.
