Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing on
the Official List, and to the London Stock Exchange for Admission, of 20,000
ordinary shares of 25p each fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing
ordinary shares.

The shares will be issued under the terms of the Lloyds Bank senior executives'
UK share option scheme 1987.
