Lloyds TSB Group plc - Block Listing Application

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for a Block Listing of 440,000 ordinary shares of 25p each of Lloyds
TSB Group plc to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority
and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The shares to be issued are in
respect of the Lloyds TSB Group shareplan.

The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the company.
