                  LIBRA RETAIL PLC ('Libra' or the 'Company')
                         Commencement of trading on AIM


The Directors of Libra Retail plc are pleased to announce the Company's
admission on to the London Stock Exchange's AIM Market. Libra is a newly
incorporated company established to identify and acquire one or more related
businesses based in the UK or in Europe in the retail sector, and more
specifically, nationwide outlets that sell directly to the consumer, for
example, health clubs or factory outlets. The Directors will be considering
businesses that are trading and offer the prospect of substantial and sustained
growth. There are a number of such prospects available to the Company and the
Company should benefit from the Directors' established relationships in the UK
to provide potential acquisition opportunities in the future.
