Celtic Sea Drilling Update

Delivery of GSF Arctic III for Barryroe Appraisal Drilling Programme

Lansdowne Oil & Gas, ("Lansdowne" or "the Company") welcomes the announcement today by Providence Resources plc ("Providence"), Operator of Standard Exploration Licence 1/11 (Lansdowne 20%) containing the Barryroe oilfield, of the delivery of the GSF Arctic III semi-submersible drilling rig.

The rig is being mobilised to the Celtic Sea, offshore Ireland and drilling is expected to commence within the next two weeks.
